Products Description

HT Automatic Voltage Stabilizer (11 KV)

RANGE : Upto 8000 kVA in 11 KV Class

HT Automatic Voltage Stabilizers are used to obtain stable input voltage regardless of voltage variations received from power companies. Furthermore, these stabilizers keep the transformer and other electrical equipment from becoming overloaded. Wide voltage variation ranges are monitored continuously and under load. Variations of more than 1% of the rated output voltage are detected by a solid state relay. This relay operates on a 230 V, 1 power supply and sends signals to the stabilizer’s motor, which drives the roller mechanism in the direction of the rated output voltage.
Construction & Working : Helical coils are mounted on a traditional laminated core in HT Automatic Servo Voltage Stabilizers. Carbon rollers are mounted on a fiberglass carrier board and run the length of the coil track. The rollers are linked to the electric output terminals. A number of compensating windings are connected in parallel near the regulating coil and short circuited to reduce the effect of core-flux fringing. It also keeps the regulator’s reactance constant at any position of the rolling contact.
